Transitioning to the new school year is tough on parents, students, and teachers alike, but being prepared can make it much smoother! This training will provide tips and techniques for assisting with this transition with strategies such as creating a visual schedule, video modeling, and priming.
The seminar will cover
- Techniques that can be used across home and school settings to prepare your child for transitions
- Tools for reintroducing structure of your child’s day
- Helpful hints for creating the ideal schedule for your family to reduce the morning rush
- How to use visual supports to help manage your child’s expectations
