Hi, My name is Wen-hsuan Chang, a doctoral candidate from the special education program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I’m a family member of an individual with disabilities, and I believe that parents and families have the most essential impact on their children’s lives. I am currently doing my dissertation trying to understand the U.S. parents’ experiences and perceptions toward teacher’s parent engagement strategies so we can better prepare our teachers to help the parents and inform future policies. It’s a 100% anonymous survey, which will take 15-20 min to complete. Eligible participants (U.S. parents of children age 14-21) will enter a random drawing for 1 of 5 $100 Amazon gift cards upon survey completion.

We would like to hear more parent voices from California! Thank you for every effort you made for this field!
