Your young adult is over 12 years old, and you’re thinking about life after high school. You’ve heard about the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Regional Center (RC) services, and you’re wondering if it may be appropriate for your youth to become an RC consumer.

2) Regional Center Clients: Is Paid Internship Program for You?
November 15, 2023 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

The Paid Internship Program (PIP) is a program paid for by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to increase competitive integrated employment (CIE) for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The PIP offers up to 1,040 intern hours per year and pays at least minimum wage to a regional center consumer when the person gets an internship position at a job they want.
