Become an active participant in your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)!

Welcome to our podcast series, A Parent’s Guide. Matrix Parents at Marin Center for Independent Living is dedicated to empowering families of children with disabilities to successfully understand and access the systems that serve them. Our organization is a family empowerment center through the California Department of Education, a family resource center through the California Department of Developmental Services, a parent training & information center through the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education, and a center for independent living authorized by the State of California’s Rehabilitation Act of 1973. We receive core funding through these sources and welcome contributions. We serve children and adults with disabilities in Marin, Solano, Sonoma, and Napa counties. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice.
